Supernatural events only happen to individuals who allow their imaginations to run wild. Calm, rational thinkers who keep their wits about them never seem to experience the paranormal. Just a few odd coincidences on occasion but never anything inexplicable.

I've had experiences all my life.

But this one is the BEST.

I'd just moved back to the town I grew up in. I hadn't even unpacked yet. I woke up in the night. I have no idea what time it was. There was a monk at the foot of my bed. I looked at him for a bit. Usually they say something. This guy just stood there.

In my head, I heard the words "You're done now. It's time to come home." I had no idea what that meant. But he didn't seem to want anything so I rolled over and went to sleep.

The next morning I got up positively DRIVEN to go to church. I hadn't been in 20 years! I don't drive. I gave my car up years ago. So I walked clear across town to the church of my childhood. I was about half way there when I realized the monk was walking with me.

I was heart broken when I got to the church. St. Pius is a massive gothic cathedral. When I was a kid, it was packed. That day it was almost empty. I had a whole section all to myself.

The monk sat in the pew behind me. I hadn't been to confession. And I'd sinned A LOT during my time away from church. I should, to this day, be wearing a sandwhich board that says SINNER. LOL! With a soul that dirty ya just don't go to communion. No no no!

Yet, when it came time for communion, the monk said "get up." I didn't move. Then he said it louder. "Get Up." I still didn't move. Then he yelled GETUP! I popped up, certain everyone heard him. I fairly ran down the aisle. I took communion and a damn burst. I started crying. I cried through the rest of mass and the walk home.

I was almost home when the monk took me down a different street. I found a church right by my apartment. But my grandfather's funeral had been at that church when I was a wee babe. I didn't want to go in. The monk said GO. I didn't argue.

I sat through a second mass. That church became my home for years. After mass I had a driving need to read scripture. I had no idea what box my bible was in. If I even still had one! So I walked to the book store.

I sat down on the floor to look at the Catholic bibles. Just to my right I noticed a book, Padre Pio: A Man of Hope. I'd just heard the name. I'd heard it in the film Stigmata. I pulled it off the shelf and there was my monk.

My father died about 3 years ago and my little sister has epilepsy, my little sister had a massive seizure in my car and we pulled the car over and I went from the front seat to the back seat with her and standing at the back of the car was our father, freaked me out because I thought she was dying. I never want that to happen again!

One night before going to sleep, I felt something the size of a fist pressing into my pillow right behind my bed. Scared the sh*t out of me. :S

Maybe the time that not one but three deceased people (all of whom I knew to different degrees) appeared to me and started talking to me about very deep matters. One was my great-grandfather, who I had never known during his lifetime but I had met him after death. Another was a friend of mine who had died, and yet another was a man who seemed to be playing a very big role in my life without me knowing it right up until he died (long, long story). But they all had a lot to tell me.

I have had many encounters with spirits.

I saw my great grandfather after his death in full body appration(sp?)

I also have had many many physical encounters with spirits.

Such as taps on the shoulder, or slight bump in the night.
