this is not a sexest question. In the last 2 years I have been in a realationship with a gorgeous lady. she tells me all the time how much she loves me and how happy she is when we're together. but , and here it is. she want someone who can give her more material things like a nice house and holidays,weekends away . and look after her so she can work partime not full. having spoken to some friends on this situaton they have come across ladies who want or even exspect this.
yes the realationship is over but we're still friends. i hav a phyilosaphy that you can't make someone do something they don't want to . so i can't make her love me or want to be with me. It's just that with being single again is it gonna be a minefield out there??????????????

Unfortunately, many women, especially the younger ones, in our current era are gold diggers or feel they are "deserving". I see it every day, and it disgusts me.
What a shame for the women who are geniune.

Well, women used to expect to be a lesser part in the marriage, but with the large evolution of feminism, in some examples (such as yours), it seems to have turned the other way.
I do not mean to be sexist, but i seems SOME women seem to want to be a big part in the marriage and this causes them to want more, instead of making decisions and working etc.
On the other hand, more women working has become a great thing for the modern day marriage. This means that both sexes share the load and the marriage benefits.

We have always been that way...and if anything I think its getting less material. It is in our biology for the males to be the provider, to give us those things, to support us and our family. But as women get more independent we need less and less of the from you. You just have to find your equal.
There were the days when women never worked and the men were always the providers, so we naturally look for men who can give us the joys and pleasures out of life. We may love you but sometimes when things get serious enough love just isn't enough, we need more to make it the rest of our lives with the same person. And I am sure that you feel the same way about us ladies.

Yes...always a minefield. You must be very careful that you do not build relationships for the wrong reasons.
We all have our own needs in relationships...you need to make sure that your partners coincide with your as much as possible.
