Try a beard/mustache trimmer with a #2 or #3 guard attached. If it's as hairy as you stay, shaving it will look neater, more appitizing and you will feel sexier. Nair: really bad. Waxing, you have to yank it out.

With a trimmer and the right guard, you can remove almost all of it, and just leave a thin layer of hair. You don't get the ingrown hairs or razor burn. The shorter the guard, the closer you'll get. The smell I would guess is your secretions getting on the pubic hair, and being in a warm, dark environment (your panties), is causing the smell.

Remove most of the hair, switch to cotton panties and clean on a regular basis (when you feel dirty) and you'll have what your looking for.

I'm a guy, but my wife had the same issues. She's been using this method this for about 15 years and is still as sweet smelling and tasty as the first day. Try it, you'll be much happier.

fist i would never advise anyone to use a product like nair/veet etc. it is far to harsh on the delicate areas, i had problems simply using it on my legs.

trim the hairs first so that they are not to long and then use a razor that has a lubriction strip on it both sides of the blade. this willl help lessen the friction, and also use either shaving foam or soap, and start at the top in small strokes, rinsing the razor as you go.

this will help lessen the pain, and apply something like savlon after shaving to sooth the area further.

you say it smells really bad? is that because of the hair or is it because of you own lack of personal hygiene routine or some other reason? could it be due to a infection?

each time you use the bathroom wipe with a baby wipe, you can get small travel size packs to fit into your bag

I wax and I love it.It may hurt at first but after a few times it will not be painful all. When I use to shave It hurt when the hair was growing back. DO NOT USE NAIR OR OTHER PRODUCT LIKE THAT. As far as the smell use baby wipes though out the day instead of tissue.

I would wax, go to a beautician and get a bikini wax, or buy something like veet cold wax strips which are the best for beginners. if you're worried about the pain, some people take a pain killer like paracetamol before their wax, it's meant ot help. Also, to limit pain, trim the hairs so that they are a bit shorter but not too much or it'll be harder to catch the hairs.

Good luck!

Ya, nair is a bad idea.

I have a beard & mustache trimmer (my husband has a goatee too) and use it to trim up down there... I use the shortest setting mostly. NO irritation from using it.

I had the same issue with trying to shave

good luck

Well that used to happen to me then finally i broke down and paid for laser hair removal. There is a company where I live and I always heard it on the radio...Ideal Image...it was a great investment and the hair never grows back...If you don't like the fur bikini look then this is the way to go...

Do what you want. I think soap might help the funk smell. Get you some clippers and move the lawn before breaking out a razor to trim a landing strip.

If it's hurting when you shave, it's because you're not using shaving cream or foam, or you're not leaving it on long enough, that's all. Bathing instead of showering will help to soften hairs too, and stop it from hurting. And in my opinion, waxing down there doesn't hurt at all.

YIKES! Did you actually say to the world :it smells bad if I don't shave? TRY BATHING EVERY DAY, that would be a good idea. If you have an odor you may have a yeast infection.

You can trim it pretty short with scissors. It lasts about a week before you need another "haircut" but I think it looks better than shaving.
