No. Neither. At least they are doing their part to be a productive member of society. I have a friend who always used to say "somebody needs to pump the gas". She meant it in a condescending manner, but I think that her words ring very true. Not everybody can be the CEO. Whether it is their true occupation or possibly some probationary requirement, I admire the fact that I am not paying my hard earned tax dollars to support a lifestyle of laying on the couch for them. Never laugh at or pity people if you don't know the real story (and when you, you still shouldn't). Remember, karma's a b*tch.

It depends. Mostly I feel sorry for them. They may be having hard times right now.
But I know a few people that work there, and they are only working there so that they can continue living off the government. The government doesn't say you have to strive for a better job or better place, you just have to prove you're working. This one woman I know is completely content living in low-income housing, popping out kids, and working as a burger flipper, just to collect a government check.
In other words, she put herself in the situation, she doesn't care to get out of it, and I don't feel sorry for her at all.

Not at all! At least they are productive members of society. I am in that age range and I see nothing wrong with working there. Actually I think they are pretty smart, McDonalds is much better than working your butt off in a factory for the same pay.

I don't think that it is funny. I think that they are earning a living instead of living off of the government. It is an honest job and there is no need to feel sorry for them if they don't like working there they can always find something some place else.

I would never laugh. There's a saying, "There but for the grace of God go I". Think about it. You could be that person one day. I respect that they're working rather than living off us (welfare). We can't pretend to know their circumstances. So can we really laugh at them and judge them?

I feel happy that they have found a job - I know too many people who are out of work and that's a very sad fact. I admire those who will flip burgers rather than depend on government aid.

Neither... I respect them for doing what it takes to put food on the table.

I feel sorry for those that do not know the meaning of work and supporting a family. Because they are scum.

No. I laughed at myself when I worked at McDonalds.

i'd rather see older people working at Macca's then some 15yr old pimply kids who cant even get your order correctly or the younger adults ie: 18/19yr olds who are tooooooo busy chatting up customers in drive through while you're waiting!

You get better service from older people (not all but most)

I kindda feel sorry for them; but then again, a job is a job and a decent one it is. Those people are earning a salary a decent way. It’s definitely better than stealing or being on government assistance (welfare).
