What can I say I had a rough and sporadic run and in the end burned out. 3 +1/2 yrs at a local school where I was matriculated with a 1.81 and a sting of summer and fall '06 classes at BU which I enrolled in for inspiration and in the end failed 6 classes straight. I know I am capable of the work and believe at another institution I could, and probably will succeed. Will I be able to get into a community college? And if that goes well for 2 yrs will I be able to apply to a decent University program. I'm determined to prove to my family that I'm moving onward and upward. Should I disclose my first 4 years of collegiate *&^*(&* ups when reapplying. And if I run the risk of being found out should i just change my name and social security number to prevent a prospective college from accessing harmful records. I know it isn't ethical. But if I go above and beyond these next 2yrs of community college don't i deserve a second chance and therefore merit exoneration from my acad. past?

You DEFIANTLY should not try to hide your past schooling history. I know a student personally who did that and in his LAST quarter at his University they decided to do an investigation on him and ended up revoking his diploma and all his units, making his four years there a HUGE waste of time and money. So basically, they took all his money down to the final quarter and THEN did an investigation. Colleges do this a lot. So dont hide anything. I was going to hide my records at another college where I got 2 C's but then I heard about this guy and it scared the hell out me.

Just go to a 2 year, get good grades and show potential colleges your not a complete screw up. Colleges look favorably upon people who show change. I think you have a long journey in your future but if you buckle down, you'll be allright.

The community college you're at now's the GPA which would be seen. The transferred credit would be blanketed on your educational assertion honestly as bypass or Fail. Your training from fifteen years in the past, at the same time as you nevertheless gets the credit which you took them, you do no longer might desire to rigidity with regards to the grades. So, on your case, you do have the standards to flow to the 4 year as you would be seen a 2.seventy 5 GPA. stable luck, i'm optimistic this is going to all artwork out. You looked desperate to make it artwork this time around.

You probably will end up having to disclose your entire academic history.

Also, you need to figure out WHY you are failing classes and what you can do to prevent that. Until you do that, you're going to keep failing classes and doing poorly.
