We kept the hose in for a few days but there was no water bill since we have our own well.

However, you should call your water compnay and ask about a bulk bill or discount on the water once you tell them what it is for. Some cities offer this to their customers.

Good luck!

depends on how many gallons your pool is. I have a 16,000 gallon tank. I filled it with a garden hose, mu bill was only $7 more than average. I have asked many people and they all said the same thing.

Call your water co. and see if they can give you an estimate, as long as you know the water capacity for the pool.
