im 14 and i have a hormone imbalance so i will probably have to get tablets to increase my estrogen levels.what do these do and what are the side effects??? like will i gain wieght and stuff like that?my friend told me it makes your breasts grow?!

First, calm down. Second, don't ask your friends; they'll tell you a lot of stuff that may or may not be true. Ask your doctor or ask the pharmacist when filling the prescription. The weight gain (which I know it's what worries you the most), depends on the strength of the tablets. Other side effects may vary, but the best way to know is asking the pharmacist and letting him or her know if you smoke and any meds you take.

Estrogen does make you gain a bit of weight I believe, but other than that there's not really any abnormal side effects because it's a hormone your body normally produces naturally.

that is up to the Dr / as to what is prescribed / and the side effects involved / just cause meds / have side effects /does not mean you will have them / i am 54 years old / take meds for some time / and only 2 / ever gave side effects / good luck
