Two years isn't a huge age gap, and generally 17 year olds and 15 year olds are at the same basic stage in life. I don't see anything wrong with the 17 year old approaching the 15 year old.

Of course, if it makes the 15 year old uncomfortable or she otherwise doesn't want to respond, it's perfectly fine not to.

I'm a mother of 4 and honestly at age 15 ummm not so sure now if it were 16 and 18 I wouldn't mind so much , I look at it this way 15 is usually a freshman right and 17 Junior or Senior? I dont know it depends on the kids and how mature they are. and if I trusted them or not......as far as dating, I guess its not such a big deal as long as the girls parents have taught her about responsible dating and what not

the first person is correct. What are the 17 year olds attentions. This question naturally sounds suspicious.

Is the boy going to harm or rape the 15 year old or just say hi, whats up. What is going on add more details

I would say it is fine just as long as you think you would be able to trust him. If he is the type of kid that might put you into a questionable situation. Then no. But if he is someone who you have known and can trust. Then i would say go ahead and try it out.

Not a good Idea. He will be an ADULT in less than a year and the fifteen year old will be three more years before she is an adult.

It could create a dangerously illegal situation for him.
