i just plugged in my filter for my new mini bow 1 (the undergravel filter) and it is covering the whole top of my tank with bubbles!my betta isnt in it yet,and im wondering what i should do???is this just what it does when it's brand new or something?any help is much appreiciated!!

...Are you talking about the bubbles that come from the air pump.. They all gather at the top .. if it is then this is normal and it will probibly happen all the time.

The undergravel will always make some bubbles, but you will see more at first due to additional chemicals in the tank. Don;t put your betta in yet, wait until the bubbles seem to lessen. If that doesn't happen in a day or so, take the tank back down and rewash everything well with warm water and set the tank back up.

Well if you just put it in, it takes a while for your fish to get used to its new surroundings, then in a day it will hopefully start to make a bubble nest.
