It is just a person or person's who want to steal your identity sweaty. There is no prize. Think back, did you enter a contest? No? Then, how could they even draw your name? NEVER send anyone your personal information online. If you must buy something online, make sure that there is a little pad lock symbol in the bottom right corner of the window, otherwise don't do it. When you send information on the internet, it can not only be seen by the reciever, it can also be seen by every tecnician that has to review that data. Also, there are hackers that can see anything you send ddigitally too. Be very careful!

This is most definitely spam. You can also report it to Yahoo by sending it as an attachment to: spoof@Yahoo.com. You should never give out any information before checking to see if the email is legit. This can be done by reporting it to the above address. You will get a response from Yahoo stating if it spam or actually from them. But this one is definitely a spam. I just hope nothing terrible comes from giving out information.

It's a phishing scam, period .You didn’t enter a lottery, and YAHOO isn’t running a lottery. All you are going to win is an empty bank account and more trouble than you ever dreamed of. If you want to bother, forward the fraudulent email to phishing@cc.yahoo-inc.com, spam@uce.gov, and 419.fcd@usss.treas.gov.

Yahoo and MSN are two different companies. There is no lottery.
And the address, "@bellsouth.net" is even a different company. I'd think a Yahoo / MSN lottery would have a @yahoo.com or @msn.com address, hm?
Head over to http://abuse.yahoo.com and let them know what's going on.

If you didn't notify them or give them your email address, then its a scam. Notifying the FBI may not work. The Bureau is an investigation company, it doesn't specialize in computer investigation even though they may have agents that do so. Try contacting the NSA.

It is not. If you have given them any credit card/bank account info etc. you might want to cancel them first immediately. Then approach the FBI or the police and tell them about the scam. Check your credit report after a month or so just to make sure there were nothing suspicious in that.
You can get free credit report at http://www.freecreditreport.com/

Of course not!
It's from some subscriber at bellsouth.net. Why would someone from Yahoo send you email from there?
Go notify FBI, i doubt they will do anything.

As a general rule, if you get an email and you don't know who it's from, why they sent it, or any other information about it, delete it. it wouldn't be anything important anyway. if you had to ask us, then it's most likely not legit in the first place. delete it with out looking back, you won't miss it. whatever you do, don't open it.
