I bet that Rico is fat. He's probably just saying that junk that he says just because he wants to hide the fact that he is actually grotesquely obese. Most likely, he's one of the extremely overweight people that you see on National Geographic from time to time. His daughter was probably once fat, atleast until she got so huge that she collapsed in on herself like a neutron star.

'Fat' is an offensive adjective, it is used much better as a noun. Like the fat on a pig or cow.
