I was really disappointed.

Any body who says they loved it, is lying. Maybe after 3 days of thought they came to that decision, but when the screen went black and everybody was sitting on the edge of your seat...Who could possibly say they loved that? It absolutely was nothing BUT dissapointment. A total cop-out from David Chase, who apparently thought he could outwit us all and escape the critics by not giving us an ending at all.
I kind of compare it to the Seinfeld ending, which, for different reasons, also felt like a slap on the face. Not that I will ever stop loving either show!

It was disappointing because it sets up a movie within a year to - maybe - ties things up. I wonder if the plan is a franchise like The Godfather, where there are 3-4 movies possibly in the works.

I thought my DVR stopped taping. I don't think it tied up anything. I am still as unsatisfied as I was last year when I thought I was watching the last episode. (Before I found out there was another season) I wonder if they wanted to leave the ending open so that everyone could make up there own ending so that it ends the way you want it to. There better be a movie. I have been watching the show long enough that I deserve a better ending than that.

AH! I was so mad. They made you think something was gonna happen in that cafe and they leave you hanging. But if Tony would have gotten wacked we all would have been a little sad...

me too, although I've read stuff from the writer and he thinks the ending is deeper than it appeared
