No, Dear Linda..That's what they're made for. (pats Lady Linda on the head) Silly Linda...You're not hurting the candy...they like it...it makes them feel important. And when you swallow them they go to this magical place in your tummy, where they frolic and enjoy their frinds...........for 15 to 17 hours, anyway!

Candy does feel pain, but lettuce doesn't. That's why I only eat lettuce. That and because I don't want to get fat...but mostly because I feel bad for candy.
My thighs also feel pain when I crunch candy--the pain of getting bigger.
