i was hit by a truck [doublecab] broke my back and leg because i jumped upom the truck to keep from going under it and getting kill i was in a cross walk and the light was for me to go when i was hit now it has been almost 2 years now the insurance wants to settle for only 10,000 with my medical,medication,pain and suffering hospital bills over 98 thoundsands dollards that is not even a drop in the bucket and i'am still in pain i walk with a limp my lawyer do not want to settle i'am hurting for money for utilities, meds, car payments and getting evicted i sure want to take it but do you think i should wait for morer?

Well just do the math. Does 10,000 cover for all the damages?
I would listen my lawyer, sue those people and make them pay the bills. (forget about suffering, judges hate when people try to cash on "their suffering" that's bogus; go for the medical bills and lost wages, that's something you can prove for sure.)

I honestly think you need to listen to your attorney. Insurance companies ALWAYS want to settle for much less than what the victim deserves!
