Ask your husband what he thinks. He'll probably say yes.

Well, I'm not of the "texting" generation... but I'd say yes. I would be very upset if I found my boyfriend or husband doing anything suggestive with another person. Even if there was no "bodily contact" it is still an act of betrayal because it is intimacy that should be shared with only you. If he wanted to fantasize about it, that's one thing... but the minute you can't control your actions... and go ahead and do it, that's another. And yes, I'd consider it cheating.

It all depends on what your definition of cheating is.....it certainly isn't a good idea and can lead to trouble if it is pursued but theoretically, it is digital flirting. Does your bf flirt with the waitress at a restaraunt? Is he flirty by nature? It seems more acceptable if he does it in real life because that is his personality, but he doesn't cheat. Talking dirty via text when you are in a relationship is the yellow brick road to Cheaterville ;-)

Yes, it is a form of cheating. If your brain thinks of things to say to another....what is the difference between, saying it....sending it, writing it? none.... It all falls under the same intentions and motives of the heart. In what form of relating an outside interest to another makes no difference, the intentions are less than honorable.

Yes it is. Anytime someone in a relationship makes an inappropriate comment or in your case text to someone other than their spouse or partner.. it is cheating. Because, nine times out of ten it always leads to more.

it depends on what you consider cheating.
It is flirting. He may not mean anything by it and only be having fun but it sounds like something the two of you need to talk about.

In general, Yes it is. Not nearly as bad as actually doing the deed, but cheating none the less.

If you are involved with somebody else, yes, it is.
Why? Because you are choosing to flirt with a fantasy...instead of concentrating on the real person you are with.

Empathy helps you understand things better.
How would you feel if you found out your S.O. was doing this behind your back? Would you like it?
There's your answer....

I am of the belief that anything you would not do with your partner standing right there is inappropriate.

I mean really now. And consider this, would you like your partner texting suggestive things to another female???!! I wouldn't like that at all....

Yes cheating is anything that you would not want your significant other to walk in on or see and it goes both ways.
