The reason behind the racism hype is that US/European interests in Africa are huge, lots of cash to be made down there, and the multinationals exploiting African resources, from diamonds to tobacco, cocoa and fruit plantations, aim to stay in power there as long as possible. So, they divert attention from the appalling conditions African farmers are forced to live in, and make us all worry about saying the word 'black' too many times, or having enough token black faces on TV, and everyone pointing their finger at "The Bad Racist", while the white man is down there raping Africa to the bone.

I don't hate you for being racist. You must have your reasons.

Black people are the most racist around, ever. Their hate for the 'white man' is huge and very powerful. You don't think they like you, do you? Listen to what they say amongst themselves and you'll know that they hate your guts, if you're white.

I couldn't care less if their skin was green, I've never seen anyone with a more aggressive, nasty and rude attitude in the rest of the world, and frankly I don't see why I should apologize for not brown nosing all that's black.

I've grown up in an area that has more black than white people living in it, and I have been discriminated against all my life, everything has always been in favour of the poor little black guy. Black people get jobs they're not qualified for just so that companies can show they're not racist, then they spend their time helping only other black people. Everyone knows that, but we all have to pretend they're sooo nice to everyone. NOT!

I don't see what people are talking about here, the media portrays black as the new cool thing, not pimps and crack addicts! Even white people are being brainwashed into going around with their trousers falling down, speaking in a way that encourages being ignorant and dumb.

There are provisions in all associations for black people to be seen by black workers, as a white person could never been culturally appropriate for a black person, yet all whites have to be happy to be dealt with by a black, with a BAD attitude of hate and authority, as apparently if you're black you know what it's like to be white, and you're automatically culturally appropriate for whites. Unfairness is the rule.

I think it's disgusting that their ancestors (among many others, including Chinese, Eastern Europeans, etc...) were sold as slaves two hundred years ago, but at the end of the day I didn't do it, and I don't see why I have to be hated for it. Besides, hello, if black slaves hadn't been deported here, their descendents would still be in Africa, and I don't see them queing up to go back there, they seem to like the white man's society well enough, even if they hate the whites so badly.

That's an interesting question, "How do I stop being racist"?
The most interesting part I found in your question was how do you stop?
I am no councillor nor do I have any qualifications to enable me to give you any advise.
However, I was once the same as you, except that I couldn't care less if I was hated or not!!
Lets put that aside , I think the 'change' started to happen to me when I was in the army (UK) overseas mainly in Arab countries , all my mates were a mixed bunch of fellers, all had tales to tell, some I believed , others I didn't !
I made up my own mind, I could have got on fine just listening to all the cr*p that was coming forth, I didn't!
If we want to just concentrate on black or white just think it out for yourself Why?
If you want to think about Scotts and English think
again why?
You can only sort this out for yourself, at the end of the day 'we' are all people, 'we' are all different, 'we' are not all drug dealers or pimps.!!
Just a futher note, say you actually got to be friendly with a Scott, a black or Irish or Welsh? some folk may 'hate' you for that, so what???
Get your act together man!!!

You don't know most black people.....

Anyways, to stop being racist you must get a little smarter and realize that not everything you see on television represents the majority of blacks. And you musn't get so threatened by our demeanor, which many whites find intimidating and aggressive. Many blacks just have an edge, partly from being raised in inner cities. But that doesn't mean that every black person who isn't walking around with a Colgate smile is going to rob you. Also, darker skin shouldn't intimidate you, either. Just because you run into a dark skinned black doesn't mean they're going to try to rob you.

That's a start.

You've got to ask yourself why you hate most black people. If it's just because they're black then I feel very sorry for you. Maybe you were raised with racist values.
How would you feel if the boot was on the other foot? If you were black & others hated you for it?
Reflect on these things and maybe you can begin to eradicate these negative destructive feelings.

You are not racist, you are a bigot. There is a difference. Racist actually believe their race is superior to others. Bigots judge people based on stereotypes. You sound like a bigot. Dont really know what you can do except stop letting your surroundings and the media influence your opinions of people.

Racism is a form of ignorance what you need is some education. I would try and finds some if I were you because if you are a racist then hatred is probably the right sort of attitude for people to have towards you.

For a start I don't blame the people because racism is hurtful and nasty and how would you feel if someone from africa or another country said something racist to you? If you want to stop it then hang around with people of different race and when you start liking them you will eventually stop (fingers crossed)

Look for the good things the other races have, try to find the positive instead of the negative side not only regarding races but in every aspect on your life, and you'll be a happier person.

Sorry bru, only you can do that.
I know it sounds cliched, but why don't yo try to find out when/why you became racist, or what makes you think that there is a difference other than the obvious.
Are your parents/grandparents racist?
My dad and his mum and dad were, they'd shout abuse at the TV! Now my brother is, my sister and I aren't.
Who knows. just try to stop yourself, either don't say owt or try to say something nice!

you can try actually conversing with those of other races, stop yourself from saying racist things, be more open to others and their ideas, and giving people a chance could help to.
