Would the results of a basic blood test (for your annual check up) show or detect alcohol? If so, what would it be called on the results?

Etoh (as it is referred to in tests) is not tested for in a basic blood test. It is only checked for if specifically asked to be checked for.

It's called your blood alcohol level. Or the % of alchohol that's in your blood.

Not all doctors would do this test for a routine physical, but SOMETIMES they do. The test would be a GTT (sometimes called a Gamma-GT).
