That leaves God exactly where He's always been: above.
Earth-bound logic does not apply to Him, sorry.

Have you seen Him abusing his power?
Corrupt people abuse their power in God's name all the time, but they will have to pay a price for that eventually.
Power corrupts because of human nature. We are not perfect.
That is why our founding fathers rejected the all too human desire to make themselves Royalty and set up a Constitution where the government had LIMITED power.
OH how today's political leaders must HATE that Constitution! (Maybe that is why they never follow it.)
That is also why we must NEVER allow Socialist principles in our society.
Socialism is NOT just another monetary system it is a way of controlling how YOU can use the fruits of your own labor.
Since MONEY is POWER, the more of your money the government controls, the more corrupt they become.
LOWER TAXES!!!

Which God are we talking about the loving, caring, full of forgiveness, peaceful, happy God or the creator of tornado, hurricane, flood, I will send you to burn in hell God?
