Unfortunately, they are still around in small pockets in the deep south - but they are so mocked, that they don't have any real power anymore. The only place you ever see/hear from them these days is on Jerry Springer or on Howard Stern...

What else do you expect from a bunch of moonshine swilling, sister banging, bucktoothed hicks who go around dressed like their momma made them cheap last-minute halloween costumes?

My chum, get a grip. The Klan are merely known people who say and do issues that different individuals sense yet won't do. for occasion ask your self "How did an artwork college drop out like Adolf Hitler upward push to power?" the wealthy Germans supported him and his ideals. the comparable with the Klan. don't be unsuitable there are a number of whites of privilige who help the Klan and the white supremacy circulation. So the stereotype that your community Klan is in undemanding terms some sheet wearing redneck is a misnomer. as a remember of fact the unique Klan contributors have been wealthy plantation vendors indignant on the loss of their wealth after the Civil conflict. of path a lot of human beings do no longer believe their "hate filled philosophy". however, for the period of cases of poverty, the upward push of unlawful immigration and the upward push in crime, hate communities such because of the fact the Klan boost in type. that is in undemanding terms human nature, each and every time we are under pressure rather of searching for recommendations we turn to insanity.
