Is it as good as Kite Runner?

I listened the audio versions of both books. I thought they were both excellent. Since The Kite Runner is from a male perspective, I liked the fact that we see Afghanistan from a female perspective in "A Thousand Splendid Suns"

It's good, in the same vein, but no, not as good. He has a great style, simplistic, yet somehow it draws you in and keeps you reading. From what I have heard from my friends, if you loved the Kite Runner, you will love this one as well. Check out some of the reader comments on amazon.com
