Your little brother is expecting a little too much from you. I think you can have a man to man with him, and he'll understand.

You think the wedding will be awkward - just wait 'til it's time to exchange gifts with the family on Christmas.

PS - if he's always looked up to you, is THIS why he's marrying your ex? Trying to get a piece of his brother's life?

With all the women in the world, why would he marry your ex wife? Sorry, but I don't think I'd participate in this wedding. This might disappoint my brother, but I wouldn't want to be a part of something like this. No deal.

I don't know what kind of woman divorces one man to marry his brother. Also no offense but, did your brother ever think it might be a little uncomfortable for you since she is your ex. If you can put your own issues aside as see that your doing it for him not her then great. If not I would be honest with him and tell him you are not comfortable and would prefer not to be best man.

I have a very close friend whose ex-wife married his brother. It's still hard for me to get my mind around it! However, everyone seems happy, and my friend is married to another woman now. So, I guess it can work. I think what would be best for your own personal mental health would be to forgive your ex, get over your hatred, and be your brother's best man.

I couldn't do it. As your brother, he should be aware of the things that happened that led to you divorcing this woman. She should also be aware of your feelings towards her. I would tell him that I loved him and wished him all the best but that because of who he is marrying I couldn't be his best man and stand next to him while he married this woman and then toast him later in the evening. I don't think I could even go. This is a strange situation.

Have ya'll been on Jerry Springer before??? It's great when someone finds love, it's hard to come by... but there's how many billions of people on earth?, why did they hook up to begin with? Was there an affair between the two of them that you're of? Personally I think love is where you find it, no matter what age, race, creed, religion or political beliefs they may have. But you're exwife and brother hooking up.... beyond tacky!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do it for your little brother. You're just going to have to be the bigger man. Though, the whole situation is weird and the fact that your brother went after your ex-wife is pretty low. You know, on second thought, don't do it. Tell him that your conscience would bother you if you did it because you don't think he should marry such an evil woman and he could do better with someone else.

Seriously....how messed up is that? If this is legit, then you really need to have a chat with your 'little brother' and tell him just how wrong this is. If he wants to marry her, fine..but to have YOU in the wedding party??? Uh..NO! When I remarried, we had my 2 boys in our wedding party...but the ex was NOWHERE to be seen! Had she shown up, she would have been removed. Of course, she has never been stupid...just selfish, so not even she would have tried such a thing...

My mind boggles......

So you mean to tell me.. that out of all the women in the world.. he chose YOUR ex wife to fall in love with and marry? LoL.. that's just crazy. I don't think you should step up as the best man.. How can he expect you to? Afterall, she's your leftovers. If he loves you as much as you love him.. simply tell him you don't feel comfortable with his request.

First off dealing with your x wife becomming your sister in law is enough. But to be his best man, I would say no.
Best of Luck!
