SA = 2 pi r^2 + 2 pi r h
SA = 2 pi r( r + h)
SA = (2*pi*4)(4 + 6)
SA = 25.133 * 10
SA = 251.33m^2

first you have the circle at the top and the circle at the bottom.

each of these is PI*r^2, so that's 2*PI*r^2

then you have the side surface, which is circumference of the circle times height, i.e. 2*PI*r*h

so overall, 2*PI*r^2 + 2*PI*r*h = 2*PI*r (r + h)

substituting your numbers, we get 251.33 m^2

A = 2πr² + 2πr.h
A = 2πr.(r + h)
A = 8π.(4 + 6) m²
A = 80π m²
A = 251.3 m² (to 1 dec. place)
