Griffy JR.
He's faster/younger, and I think is a better outfielder

Based on pure talent Griffey is in the top 5 of everyone who has played the game. If injuries hadn't robbed him of the last 10 years or so we'd be talking about a two man race between him and Bonds to see who's the all-time home-run king. Barry was great with or without performance enhancers, but for my money Griffey is the superior talent and the better teamate (not that he was the greatest in this respect either) I'd take Griffey, but you can't go wrong building a team around either of these guys.

Griffey seems to be a better team player and would be more fun to play with. Bonds just has to much of a bad attitude.

Everyone has problems getting along with Bonds...I go with Griffey Jr.

Just wondering, but do you want an answer, or just validation of the standard pro-Griffey/anti-Bonds agenda?

Bonds has always been a better hitter and, for a while, was a better fielder, though most people don't realize it (okay, better at playing LF than Junior was at CF; CF is a somewhat harder position; but Bonds didn't win eight Gold Gloves by mistake).

This year, Ken Griffey Jr. But if I could choose any current player based on their career, Bonds would beat them all.

Bonds. He has/had lots of speed, power, can hit for average, and his D is good. All around better than Griffey. For the question, I don't care if my teammate has a nice smile or has a good swing. If a guy produces, I can care less.

good question ! they are both very talented, ( even before the alleged roid use of bonds he won a few league mvps) bonds has 7 mvp's to his credit, way more than anyone else in the game today ! ( or most likely ever for that matter ! )however, i would still take Griffy Jr. because, he has , i think the sweetest of all swings in baseball ! always seems to be honest, & clean !( not cheating, or roids ever mentioned ever with him) and with out the injuries, he would of been ahead of bonds & we would of been witnessing a real home run king ,clean & true ! griffy also is a way better defensive player than bonds & his teammates actually like him !not to mention the media as well ! go jr !

This is easy: Think of Barry Bonds, and think of Griffey. When you think of Griffey, he is smiling. When you think of Bonds, you think what? Certainly whatever you say, won't make you smile.

Griffey would have been the king, if he wasn't Mr. Glass. I choose the smiling "kid" over black hat wearing Barry.

Griffey because he seems like a decent guy. Not a liar. He is also a better all around player.
