Of course he is trying to cheat you. I hope you haven't given him and money or personal/bank details.

yes i have received similar scam emails saying to transfer wealth of deceased persons into my account overseas .. unbelievable.. Who in their right mind would trust a foreigner with huge sums of money,, bulshit..

Yes, this is a scam. Do not do anything. I repeat, do not send him any particulars etc. If you already have, then report it to your local authorities.
