hmm never really thought about it...i guess its because you hide them and we never get to see them...if the world walked around nude for a year and then put clothes on i bet we really wouldnt care about boobs! lol good question though

I would say that yes it is because guys don't have them, but there are some guys that do and they still want a womans to play with. I think that guys are attracted to them because they see them as part of the female form and while they may seem quite normal to you they are like an extra for guys. It's not that we don't know what they look like, it's just that they are different to us on every female. It is also something that guys relate to the female form. We like boobs. I can't come up with anything else. Some guys ar into butts. Why do women usually get hung up on a guys but it is just fat that is below our backs. Ask yourself that and maybe you will better understand the guys and boobs thing.

I am a guy "duh" and I think, despide it being an inate thing and a peer pressure thing, that guys like them because they are hidden and forbidden. If they were just always out there for anyone I think guys would lose the attraction because humans are born with the desire to want what they cant have or want to do what they aren't suppoused to. If you took the fact that they are useless peices of skin to another part of the body, say...the chest or face, that people like and try to change to make more attractive then they would be no different from boobs because they are no more useful but people are still attracted by them.

there are several schools of thought:
1. They are unique. Men don't have them, and they help identify a woman as a woman.
2. They indicate that a woman has reached maturity, the development of breasts is one step in puberty. They show that the woman is sexually mature enough to procreate.
3. They can display the health of the female. Large healthy breasts can be a sign that the woman is capable of having, and raising healthy children. Though a woman with small breasts can still produce milk, large breasts are seen as a sign of health and vitality.
There are probably several other reasons. These are all evolutionary and subconscious. Men don't realize that this is why they like breasts when they like breasts. But because these signs help us thrive as a species, they have become sexy.
They are seen as sexy because thats what men look for in a mate, so that they can produce healthy children together.
Another reason is that there is a bit of mystery to them.
Girls hide them, so Guys want to see them. Way back when, it was sexy to see a girls ankle because women covered up more than they do now. Even when at the beach. And showing your legs has been sexy, showing the midriff was sexy, showing cleavage has been sexy, etc... but for the most part, breasts have remained hidden away.

We like them (1) because we don't have them; (2) because they are jiggly and wonderful; and (3) they are the first nurturing things we encounter as infants. As for our obssession, it is because we are socialized in this country to be boob-centric. Boobs and images of boobs are everywhere.

I'm not a boob guy. In fact, I'm not attracted to girls with large breast. Most of my friends are, so your right. Most guys are obsessed, but I don't get it. The first thing I look for is eyes. That's what gets me. If figure, if I'm gonna settle down with a chick I better like looking into her eyes. I'm not gonna look into her **** and wonder what shes thinking. lol.

They're a part of what makes women, women. I am not really obsessed with them. I pay more attention as to the type of person a woman is and if they're smart.

No I dont think all guys are obssesed with them. Some guys like em small, some like them big. Men like them because its something they dont have, plus there attractive! Boobs are awesome and make every girl feel like a women. Even though boobs are truly meant for feeding babies. It adds womanly curves to our bodies.
