3 scoops. Over all its divide by 2 to get the amount. so when you hit like say needing 7 oz, its 3 1/2 scoops.

3 scoops for a 6 oz bottle. 1 scoop for every 2 ounces, so six ounces divided by two is 3... 3 scoops.

It is 1 scoop per 2 oz of formula. So yes, 3 scoops for 6 oz. I can't believe it doesn't say that on the container...

Oh and after reading the response from another person--do not dilute the formula by using less scoops than is directed. This changes the concentration of vitamins, minerals, calories and can be very detrimental to the health of your baby. I have NEVER in my 6 years of pediatric nursing heard of anyone being instructed by their pediatrician to give a "weaker" formula. More scoops per oz, yes, for preemies who need increased calories per oz of formula, but NEVER less scoops per ounce. Please always confirm any advise you get on this site w/ your pediatrician. People can be ignorant, and just b/c they did it w/ their kid and no one died, doesn't make it right!!

Congratulations and GOOD LUCK!
