"A clever mix of politics and pop culture to make a candidate more mainstream than he already is?"

Yeah, that's the problem. There are those of us who would prefer that something as important as politics and something as useless as pop culture doesn't collide. You're just making this harder on us by posting that idiotic link.

If she really does support him then making such a video could actually do more harm than good. For years Democrats have been associated as being prone to infidelity; from JFK's MANY exploits to Gary Hart's "monkey business" with Donna Rice and of course the whole Bill & Monica affair.

If you really want to support Obama or even the Democrats making such a video is laughably stupid and I'm sure the GOP LOVES that this is something they can twist around and use to attack him with should it become necessary.

I think someone needs to let her know he's MARRIED!

I thought it was pretty dumb.

Or perhaps excessive is a better word.

Plastering his name on her barely clothed *** doesn't seem quite, well, quite (but then, I'm a straight woman, so it doesn't do anything for me).

I like him, though think he needs a few years on him before going after the Big Chair.

But the movie?

Hardly a ringing endorsement.

What ? 'More mainstream' ? Why , because it's a music video and you call that mainstream ?

Sorry dude , us adults don't watch MTV nor consider that to be mainstream .

It was clever and I do like music , but Obama didn't gain any points with me . Tell him to actually say something and then I'll be listening .

I find that disturbing actually...
Imagine a guy acting like that and the candidate was Hillary... See, it wouldn't look the same would it?
It looks like this girl puts a bit too much faith in politics and is a bit too obsessed with one politician in particular to me.

Who cares the girl has a crush on Obama. It is one the most ridiculous things I have seen.

Funny. But really it isn't about politics at all.

I think its fun and done in good humor.

Its not abrasive or insulting. These other people need to get over themselves and embrace the Obama Girl.
