here are formulas
i have to find Pt = Pcan + Pbar
Pbar (barometric pressure) is 757.6 torr

P can = M to Kg x 9.8 m/s^2 all over A

A = V/h

Pressure = Force / Area

Force = Mass x Acceleration of gravity

1) Convert mass of material from grams to kg by dividing by 1000.

2) Calculate Force by multiplying mass (in kg) by the acceleration of gravity (9.80 m/s^2).

3) Calculate Area from Volume. A = L x W and V = L x W x H. If you divide V by H the only dimensions left are L x W which is the same thing as area.

4) Force / Area = Pressure (in Pascals) This answer must be converted to kPa by dividing by 1000, and then to "torr" to add to the Pbar of 757.6 torr to get the Pt.

5) Conversion rate: 101.3 kPa = 760 torr
