Just one question: what's wrong with making love all day? I'm a straight woman and I love to make love to my man, if it was up to me I'd do it 24/7;)...So, I really don't see why you should see "often making love" as something bad or demeaning. It's obvious that 2 persons having a relationship with each other (regardless of their gender) have an emotional connection, and I honestly see no reason why the emotional connection between two homosexuals shuld be "stronger" than that between two heterosexuals.
Sounds to me like you aren't any better than those silly heterosexuals who disrespect homosexuals. Love is love, my friend, it comes from the heart and cannot be measured by the type of relationship.

Because sexuality is the one element that distinguises homosexuals from heterosexuals, and that difference intimidates homophobes because they don't even understand the basis of their own sexual orientation. They just know being gay is "wrong" because they don't feel it themselves.
A celibate gay person is a meaningless idea to them. There just has to be something going on or gays wouldn't make such a public commotion about "rights" and stuff. And since the orientation is "wrong", straight phobes need to assume that "wrong" acts are being commited. After all, you can't condemn a person for what they believe.
People naturally categorize other people to keep their own assumptions in some kind of order, dehumanizing unpreferred stereotypes to keep life simple. Homosexuals must be constantly acting on their twisted drives or why should I bother to make the distinction? It's largely a matter of people not bothering to think things through. The more commonalities one sees in a disreputable group (playing baseball, eating pie, putting on pants one leg at a time, loving, committed relationships, etc.), the harder it is to hate them. (Sex maniacs? Yeah! I sure don't get enough myself.)
Everyone needs food, clothing, shelter and some degree of hope. People who take these things for granted tend to forget that. They simply expect people with different needs than theirs to go away.

Bummer, that was the only advantage I saw in being gay... no conversion for me!
(This was said in a lightly humorous tone of voice, no offense intended what so ever)

I disagree. Men don't require a relationship to have sex.
