You ARE talking about the human race, you know. There are ALWAYS more hypocrites than truly sincere people. Most of the PEOPLE I've met are nutty...I wouldn't limit it to a religious belief.

You can't truly tell me that ANY people with a moral code (don't lie, don't cheat, don't steal, etc) aren't hypocritical. They still "manipulate" their own codes in order to justify their own hypocrisy--their own actions. They do it in politics too...or just about anything else---twisting things to suit themselves.

Your beef is with humanity.

I'm a Christian, and I, too have encounterd a lot of nutty Christians. A lot of them are pushy, rude, arrogant, and demeaning. They carry their beliefs like a club and try to beat people over the head with their 'faith'. If that's the way they are trying to win souls to Christ, it's not working. And that approach WON'T work in a million years. One CAN'T drag people kicking and screaming to the altar for Baptism, because that defeats Free Will. Love, kindness and tolerance goes a lot further.

You're generalizing....

Only God knows if someone is a real Christian or not - He is the only One with the ability to truly know the heart of a person.

I am a real Christian. That doesn't mean my behavior is perfect, but I do my best to let others see Jesus in me. It means I have a relationship with God and I am saved by grace through my faith in Jesus Christ.

I believe in sharing my faith by planting the seed and letting God do the rest.

God bless!

Matthew 7:13"Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it. 14But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Draw your own conclusion...

There are many who aren't "real christians" but I'm not to judge how many. Even christians are human and can have bad days that doens't mean they aren't "real christians"

Religion isn't about facts. It's about ideas and interpreting those ideas, applying them to life.

Are you surprised there is dispute? If so, WHY?
