I have heard that jk has more money, but what if the queen liquidated her assets? an everything must go, clearance sale at buckingham palace. I bet someone would pay 150 million for buckingham. Its not just the material posessions that would be worth so much, you gotta consider how much value historically some of her stuff has. I mean stuff that has been in the family 500+ years. Lets also account for the treatment the queen recieves. If she said she thought someones lamborghini looked nice, You know dealers would be tripping over themselves to be the first one to drop one off at buckingham. Does JK have that kind of star power over such a wide base? how many harry potter fans would give her that kind of treatment?

Joanne Kathleen Rowling makes it into the Billionaire Boys and Girls Club with an estimated wealth of 1 billion [US] dollars (as of 2005). At that point, she had sold 265 million copies of books in the Harry Potter series, and the Harry Potter movie concession had made $3 billion [US dollars].

Elizabeth II (as of 2005) has an estimated personal wealth of $720 million [US dollars]. Her personal portfolio includes fine art, gems, antiques, a stamp collection inherited from her father, George V, as well as valuable real estate and equity.

Forbes ranks J. K. Rowling as the 620th wealthiest person in the world, but she is certainly not the richest person from the United Kingdom. Philip and Christian Green, British ex-patriots who live in Monaco, rank 68th on "Forbes World Richest People List" with an estimated wealth of 6.3 billion [US dollars].

Some of the residences and some of the possessions within (Buckingham Palace for example) as well as the Crown Jewels are not the Queen's private property;they belong to the state.
All of JK Rowling's assets are her own. So,JK really is worth one billion dollars, while The Queen is worth considerably less(but is still very well-off).

fairly some the residences and fairly some the possessions indoors (Buckingham Palace for example) as properly with the aid of fact the Crown Jewels are literally not the Queen's inner maximum components;they belong to the state. All of JK Rowling's components are her very own. So,JK rather is particularly worth 1000 million money, even with the aid of fact the Queen is particularly worth surprisingly plenty much less(yet keeps to be o.ok.-off).

As if HRH would have all of her wealth on record ! She is a royal, after all. Just the paintings that she has forgotten about and has stored in some back room would be worth over 1 billion dollars. Every other year they find some old masterpiece, blocking a draughty hole somewhere.
