Big difference:

WE DON'T GET MEGA-SALARIES AND HAVE THE BEST MEDICAL COVERAGE IN THE WORLD for bitching and moaning like our political reps do.

I would definitely have to agree with that sentiment. You are either part of the problem, or part of the solution, but you can never really be both. This is the nature of apathy though. I believe there are many people who complain, who would also like to make a difference, but they have been conditioned into believing that their involvement doesn't have any effect. It's sad because personal involvement is the only way to effect positive change.

In the sense that many of them dont seem to have a f*cking clue what theyre talking about and would rather blame anyone and everyone but them when theres a problem? Yes.

Seriously. Some of our government officials are crazy as loons. Just look at Ted Stevens. Hes completely out of his mind. I think Alaskans just re-elect him to give themselves some entertainment. "The internet isnt just a big truck you can dump stuff in...Its...its...its a series of tubes!"

Same with Robert Byrd. Hes 89 years old and crazy as hell! Hes been there 8 terms!

And lets not forget Mike Pence. Hes probably one of the biggest idiots in the Congress.

My state finally got rid of Rick Santorum, but while he was in the Senate he was easily one of craziest there.

And what about Kucinich? I love him to death but hes just wasting time and space with his idealism and pointless bills that dont have a snowballs chance in hell of passing.

And Harry Reid? Talk about pathetic. Hes like the Alan Colmes of the Senate. Puts up a weak argument and then lets himself get crushed by one of the Senate's many Hannitys.

Our entire government is one big joke.

success has a thousand fathers, failure is an orphan. Since everyone is pointing the fingers these days, i am going to have to conclude that gov't is a colossal failure. Why don't we see pepole climbing over themselves to take credit for anything anymore? Only blame, and hot potato passing...
