Yes, it makes perfect sense. Legalized prostitution removes the criminal element, ensures both the prostitutes and the clients remain healthy, and generates tax revenue.
Providing districts where brothels can operate also cleans up the streets in residential neighborhoods.
The only arguments against it are Judao-Christian morality arguments - which do not resonate with most Americans.

Yes to legal no to Nevada. There are better ways with less abuse and safer enforcement. Check the website below for a list of options.

In some countries it is legal. But this is an area that is loaded with emotional baggage. For example, would you want your daughter to be a prostitute? What job future is there in prostitution? What social security is there in prostitution? What happens to old prostitutes? With sexually transmitted diseases so rampant, how could you prevent their spread? (And condoms aren't the solution to all STDs)

Yes and yes. It is rampant now, and thanks to the internet, is going on more than ever, just not so much with all the streetwalkers.
The regulation should be about where it occurs primarily. It should be away from neighborhoods, schools, churches, etc.
Maybe in an industrial park or out in the countryside somewhere.

not only legalised as it cannot be stopped but it should be a legal right to have clinics where customers can be tested onsite or the law before visiting a prostitute you must get an aids test. will not guarantee total safety but much better. if not already done so.

Anything that's consensual between 2 (or more) adults, that doesn't hurt anyone, should not be illegal. No matter what the terms of "consent" are.

It's already legal. It's called dating and marriage. If you can't pay women won't give you any play.
