im going t o a swim party. but i have my period. i dont know what to do. do tampons really work? i've never used one before. will there be any guarentee of leaks?

Tampons work great! Just change them more often than normal so that you don't spring a leak.
Tampons are easy to use and comfortable. Read the instructions for them carefully first before you use them.

yeah well i got my first period the day i had a swim party. haha. yeah tampons work. dont stress. just keep swimming around. and make sure you put in a new one right before you swim

they're the best! Just make sure you put it in correctly. You shouldn't feel it when it's inside you. Just follow the directions, and change it every few hours to keep it from leaking through.

Yes they work. If you insert them properly you don't even feel them. Just don't wear the same tampon for more than 8 hours--it can cause Toxic Shock.

yes they do work.... change them every 2 hours.... be carefull with the sting you dont want everyone to see it though i would suggest weating the bathing suit with cute shorts...
