As a youngster, I under no circumstances imagined I'd get married or have kids. I imagined having a satisfactory profession, an condo, going visiting, going out with peers at all times and so on. I got here nearly it - at 21 I learned I'd been authorised to Cambridge institution - what might were the starting of a splendid profession. Later that day, I learned I used to be pregnant. Now, at 23 I'm married and feature a 20 month historic daughter - by no means how I anticipated my lifestyles to prove. I love my daughter greater than whatever on the earth and do not remorse for a second giving up the whole lot for her. I wager my early life instinct approximately marriage used to be correct even though, as it is lovely rocky on the second and I feel it isn't going to final for much longer. But my daughter makes me happier than I ever concept viable - what extra might I ask for?

Life NEVER works out the way you planned, thankfully. It would be boring if it did!

At 15 I had a plan, which never panned out. I wanted to go to college and become a history teacher. Now I'm almost 30 and I'm studying to become a paramedic, which is something I take great interest in. Sometimes on the ambulance when I'm suctioning blood and teeth of of someone's mouth at 3 am after they've flipped their car over I think man, life takes you in strange places and then I almost gotta chuckle. You change soooo much in your teens and 20's. At 15, or even 18 I wouldn't have the courage to do what I love so much now. And it suits me so much better than anything else.

I thought I knew where my life was going, what job I wanted, what kind of life I would lead, what kind of guy I wanted. I ended up in a totally different job, living a totally different life, well, it ended up like I knew how it would, just not the same way of getting there.
Anyway, I think lots of people try to plan there lives out, and sometimes it works out and sometimes it doesn't, it really depends on the hand your dealt, and how you play your cards.

I think it is really rare to have things end up like you planned at 15/16. Plans are great, but need to be fluid to reflect the unexpected things that always will come.

I did. I wanted to get a college degree and become a physical therapist. I ended up going through the fire academy, working two years as a firefighter. Then my mom passed away and I left the fire service and now I'm in the police academy.

I thought I was going to be a scientist of some sort... but I wound up getting a degree in English and working on computers in my company's marketing department.
How'd that happen?

Just about everyone. At 15 or 16 its great to have plans, just make sure you are flexible about them, cause life loves to mess them up!
