Can be as early as 7 or 8 months old which is entirely to young to breed them. And the term is called coming in heat. It is important at all costs to protect the young dog from becoming pregnant as it is risky for them to have puppies. Hopefully you will have her fixed to prolong her life. If you do decide to breed her, wait until she has at least one more season before breeding her, meaning the third time in heat would be best for her.

it is different for every breed. my shar-pei just started her first one and she is nine months old. she was super sleepy for a week before and her vagina was puffy. she is a heavy flow girl, so i got her some dog panties with pads inside.
