Does anybody know the formula for converting 14,520lbs of a substance over to gallons? The specific gravity of the substance is .94

One gallon of water (specific gravity=1) weighs 8.33 pounds. The lower the specific gravity, the more volume is occupied by the same weight.

So, I'd use:

pounds/(8.33 * spgr) = gallons

In this case:

14,520/(8.33 * 0.94) = g
1,854.36 = g
