It's very interesting. The whole world told Israel that she HAD to return Gaza to the Palestinians, so she did! Remember Israel only got Gaza during a war in which she was fighting for her survival.
The Palestinians DEMOCRATICALLY voted Hamas into power, but now Hamas are in control of Gaza, the Palestinians don't like it and many are suddenly realising that Israel took better care of them than the world ever acknowledged; she built brand new housing, she supplied water and electricity.
Yet still the Palestinians voted for Hamas, the most radical group who had publicly sworn to destroy Israel.
Why on earth should Israel now want to take control of Gaza again??? She was condemned for controlling it all these years! Israel can't win!
And by the way, when Egypt had control of Gaza, she placed mines by all the borders so the poor Palestinians couldn't leave.

No, Israel should return Gaza to Egypt- the way it was before the 1967 war- same with returning control of the West Bank to Jordan. It's obvious the Palestinians can't govern themselves, but they'd be a lot happier governed by Islamic states than Israel.

Israel LEFT parts of the West Bank and the entire Gaza strip in 2005,it was still attacked by Palestine.Over 90 percent of Palestinians have self-autonomy today

Not I. Gaza would be a massive military undertaking, and since Israel disengaged from that area already I see no reason to go back. If so, why bother to leave in the first place?

Israel should not touch Gaza.
Let Egypt have it or let them fend for themselves.
As for the West Bank Israel needs to annex major settlement blocks and start to reshape the West Bank if the Palestinians will not agree to peace.
The remainder can be given back to Jordan if they are not capable of governing themselves.

They say lots of Palestinians would prefer Israeli control of those areas.
The Palestinians voted in Hamas, a Nazi-like group, and now that group is acting like Nazis. Duh.
Israel should only control those areas if Transport were politically possible.

I think that everyone has a right to live in that region, whether they're Muslim, Jewish, or Christian. This world is for all of God's children. No human has the right to order where people should live no matter what political, ethnic, religious, or economical background they come from.
