Always? Most people don't "always" have sex, such as 24 hours 7 days a week. New couples may do it every night, but then that gets old and they cut it down to once a week or less. Age is a factor too. From 40 years old and up, sex is not a real big thing, some people quit, others still continue it for pleasure. Biologically, the female stops making eggs, and the male testosterone reduces. This is to prevent conceiving old eggs and causing birth defects. The female vagina may not be as "lubricated" and the male penis may not get as hard anymore. Improvisations will be necessary to make a satisfactory sex life if sex is still a priority. Still, older people need sex somtimes, and may continue to get their rocks off up through their 70's. Enjoy it while you can.

Having sex is a NATURAL Instinct of any living organisms although the ways and extent may differ. In fact, the attractiveness of having sex is to ensure the prepetuation of human race.
This is why sex has been made so seducing in order to incite into the creation of new ones, thus ensuring the existence of the species.

People don't always want to have sex as for why we do.There are many answers 1. Some people think they need to go that far to prove their love. 2. Our bodies lead us to that direction from kissing and such cause it feels good. 3. People want to have babies and that's the fun way to get them. 4. to find out what all the fuss is about. And I could go on and on but, the best answer is if your asking this question the person you are dating or with wants it more than you or is pushing you to go further than you want and you should talk to them and let them know how you feel. That is such a generalization, as you are probably aware.
Anyway,
People (usually) have sex to reach an orgasm. It's not the sex in particular that is so good, it's the orgasm.
The sex isn't bad either though......
