I will not go back b/c he don't love Me ,I understand that now,b/c what he did to me was not out of love,and if it was I don't need that kind of love.He was not the prize,he was the man that had my heart,what a waist,but what I need to know is how long do it take to get my heart back from him,b/c I do love him but I also know that he's not good for me,but I will move on with out him,and it hurts

This is going to take time. The longer you are away/apart the easier it will get. Seven years now and it still hurts but I have moved on and we are good friends now but it took a few years for that too. The best thing to do is surround yourself with good friends and when you feel ready start dating again. Myself and many of my friends and family that have been divorced went through a phase after the divorce where we were fairly loose about who we spent the night with but that is just part of the phases we go through. If you also go through this just remember it is a phase and you will soon move on to more stable relationships. But for now it will take time and effort. This is where the good friends come in handy to be able to go do things and keep your mind off of what happened.

It is going to take a while for you to get over him. At least you have done the first step to recognize that this guy is not good for you. Just cut all contact with him, b/c if you start talking to him again its going to be twice as hard to forget about him. Be strong!

Go on a trip somewhere maybe for a month and you should be just fine . You willl meet new and better people but get away thats the secret !

Life goes on and if it was not a healthy, loving, caring,considerate, affectionate relationship you have no reason to still be obsessed with this person*....

same situation for me, but don't lose sight of the big picture... without him you're miserable but aren't being subjected to pain, discomfort and mistrust...when you're with him, you love the intimacy, but you're always walking on eggshells...who wants to live like that? the misery will subside, slowly...
