Cuba will most certainly change, perhaps not into a full democratic state but maybe into a socialist one persuing economic values of other socialist economic houses [e.g China, Vietnam,].
The implications of this are largely that Cuban lifestyle as we know it today could be wiped off altogether.

I think Cuba will change when Fidel finally dies off. I don't know if they will become a democratic nation, but I do believe that we will normalize relations with them again. This would provide a huge economic boon to the island nation. I for one would like to see this happen. If you have never visited the country, it is a beautiful country which has been devastated by the Castro regime. It would be nice to see it resume it's rightful place as a tourist mecca again.

properly if somebody (and via somebody i'm pertaining to severe-placed human beings) honestly cares with regards to the persons of Cuba and if politicians placed their minds at the same time i'm optimistic that there will be a metamorphosis interior the regime equipment, a metamorphosis for the extra suitable. regrettably political hobbies seem extra significant than the way forward for hundreds of human beings. i'm guessing that the united states of a or another vast-shot worldwide capability will "help" introduce a clean democratig regime, gaining in this form extra effect or friendly who knows what hidden purpose. those days altruism is a lost distinctive characteristic among politicians and international leaders *sigh*

This will be a long way off since power will be handed over to his brother once Fidel dies. I believe the only way Cuba changes is if the people of Cuba revolt against there government.

Yes...at least I certanly hope it does.
Cuba was once a vital, thriving country and could be so again. Their location makes them an excellent central point for Caribbean and Gulf trade; they could become THE hub for trade in that region, which would boost the economy greatly.

Only if Fidels brother doesn't take over where he left off. The people there have to rise up and take control in order to have a free society!

Probably but I imagine there would be a temporary chaos while everyone try solidify their position and status. An immediate change to existing system would be painful and disastrous, any changes should be gradual and systematic.
