order of operations say to do the exponent first

25+8/11+4/2

now do the dividing

25+ 8/11+2

27and 8/11

If I understand this right, you have a 25 to start with (5 to second power., or 5 squared); 2 negatives make a positive, so 25-8=17; 17 divided by 11= 1.5454545; minus a positive 4= -2.4545455; divided by -2= -4.4545455

(I hope I figured this right. It's been a loooooong time since I worked out problems like this one. LOL)

Order of Operations = BEDMAS = Brackets, Exponents, Divide, Multiply, Add, Subract

With order of operations, the answer is 23.7.
Without order of operations, the asnwer is -3.5.

After putting the equation on my calcutalator I got 23.72 repeating
