I am a cat person. You can go away for a weekend more easily with cats. You just have to leave a few extra kitty litter boxes, ice in one of the water dishes and extra food. A dog would eat all the food the first day and then eat vomit the next few days. Dogs seem to have more nasty habits, like snacking from the cats little box. Ewe!

I love all animals, truthfully, but for a pet, I am a dog lover...I have a 102 pound golden retriever named Hamlet sitting at my feet even now, as I type!
