Angela Davis was a Yippie (violent hippie) in the late 60s and early 70s. she also ran for Vice President with Gus Hall on the American Communist Party ticket. She's currently an english professor who teaches poetry at Stanford.

she was an American Socialist who was periodically involved with the Black Panther Political Party. She gained her notoriety when she was linked to the murder of Judge Harold Haley during an attempt Black Panther Prison Break. She fled underground for 18 months as a fugitive when she was captured. She was eventually aquitted. She is currently a proffessor at the Uneriversity of California
