What's the best and worst thing about Virgos?

There are SOME perfect descriptions of virgos on here, some that are not actually based on virgos at all but on an individual that obviously lacked maturity & esteem.

You can get the standard weaknesses & strengths from any number of books/sites. My opinion of my fellow virgos is going to have to be based only on my own experience & by the witness of my own growth. I think my worst lies in my fears & indecisiveness, due to my ability to see so many possibilities & consequences to any one action/decision. I think my best lies in my ability to appreciate things in their pure forms, in my relatability in teaching & in my ability to remain calm under pressure in order to find/achieve the best result for the situation I'm faced with.

One comment on your replies... virgos by nature are not liars, because they love purity. However, in this world, I am faced w/having to lie often in order to get along w/people, because I can't stand them and am not willing to let them ruin my experiences while they are around. I genuinely wish not ever to lie or be so annoyed, desiring more that I really didn't care (like a fire sign). Perhaps those that found their virgo associations lying to them had just overstayed their welcome.

Some Virgos are very understanding of the human condition and how frail people can be if they don't take care of themselves. Virgos are neat to obsessiveness. They are so neat they see everyone else's imperfections easily. Virgos are ruled by Mercury so they are fast thinkers and think on their toes which leads to them telling a lot of little white lies.

Virgos don't intend to hurt people, but in trying to cover their own flaws they point out everyone else's. Virgos do this as a defense mechanism and since they are mutable, or mood-swingy, it doesn't take much to trigger their criticism mechanism. After you have been demeaned, Virgos will help you care for the emotional wounds that they inflicted upon you. Thats balance.

Virgos are negotiators though. They can negotiate a deal that everyone gets what they want to a degree. They can make you an offer you can't refuse.

Virgos are virginal so they have a lot of work to do to keep people from tarnishing their chastity. Criticism is the least that they can do so they are not bad people, but they are protective people that are very considerate of family and are discerning to certain degrees.

It's good to have a Virgo on your behalf.

Don H's response must be about himself (not virgos). and Cheryl's response is about her father (which there are probably other issues underlying in it). We all DO NOT lie and we are not ALL abusive. Most of these responses are by people who aren't Virgos!!! And for ChoclettJapanimation's response....obviously you are with the Virgo you are with because you, yourself, "lie like a persian rug"....after all you have been with that person for EIGHT years (birds of a feather.....)
ANYWAY, Virgos are TOTALLY loyal and faithful (almost to a fault). We are very pratical and good with finances. We work hard and get the job done. Unfortunately, we can be really stubborn and perfectionistic.

Virgos are analytical, and typically number oriented. They can be very very good with finances, and have a strong ability to quickly learn new things. They have a thirst for facts and knowledge, and you can learn quite a bit from them.

Unfortunately, this is also a bad trait. We can tend to be overly analytical, and critical. Virgos typically won't sugarcoat statements when we are critiquing you, so our criticism can come off harsh and abrasive, almost as if we were oblivious to the fact that what he criticized could be construed as hurtful.

I agree with the person who said virgos lie like hell. I've been with a virgo for 8 years & I've noticed he lies like a persian rug! They have this thing that they need to please everyone that comes in contact with them. They do get a thrill out of hurting people. They are good with money & finances, but they are also very predictable. Once you catch on to their predictabily, it's easy to deal with them. I'm an Aquarius & Virgos have similar traits that we have, only we're very unpredictable. Virgos also try to figure people out & when they can't, they get upset & cause a lot of drama. They are also drama kings & queens, beware. Date a Virgo at your own risk. If you're not prepared to play along with the games they play, you're better off not dealing with them.

Best things they are Perfectionist and Not afraid to work hard, Worse things they think they're Better then everybody Challenge People to the Edge too much for me to handle.

My boss is a virgo. they're nervous worriers. They're picky. Complain a lot.
