It's very possible that her people know the NBA Finals would make for good publicity. She's clearly getting her name out there and making a connection with people who otherwise might not watch her work. Because of that, she might have had some people dress her up and do a little make up job before the games.
But let's give her some credit. She's engaged to the starting point guard. I think that ultimately has more to do with it than anything. There are tons of wives and family in the stands and they all live and die with the team, regardless of their own fame. ABC just chooses to focus on Eva because she's famous.
I see it as one of those cases where she's going to be there anyway. She might as well look nice and get a little publicity.

Eva Longoria just happens to star in a prime time show which is a rating hit and is broadcast on the same network that the NBA finals were on. That is the reason she was shown so much; as a commercial for the Desperate Housewives show. If FOX had broadcast the NBA Finals instead of ABC, she probably would not have been shown.

What a loser you are! don't you even notice she was wearing jeans and jersey yesterday??? that is definately not her best clothes (her lingerie is *wink*) and if you were the fiancee of any athlete and you were at their championship game you wouldn't run out onto the court to congratulate him??? it happens to all athletes with a partner, I can attest to that as well and so can my girl! the only reason why the camera is on her is because she was already a star! in fact it betters the ratings because fans of eva may now watch parker. and does that also mean jack nicholson only goes to lakers games to promote himself? don't think so...there should but an idiotic section on yahoo answers for these questions!
oh and when parker fell one game, if you paid attention she was saying get up to encourage him.
and last but not least! this has nothing to do with basketball except for the fact that eva is marrying tony parker! go to the social section, or entetainment or some garbage like that!

I agree with you. And when they show her during games, a lot of times she's not even watching the game. And one time, when Tony fell and got hurt and was lying there being checked out, they showed her, and she was laughing and talking to somebody and wasn't even paying attention to the fact that her fiancee was hurt.
I have no respect for that woman. She acts like she's only at games to "be seen".......and one time, she and Tony got pulled over by the cops here in San Antonio, and it was reported that she said, "Oh, it's just another Mexican who wants our autographs." That made my boyfriend (who is of Mexican descent) mad as hell........
