I'm just wondering if anyone knows of a lingerie place that actually makes and sells half sizes that include "almost D" or "C-D." I am halfway between a C and a D. Some C's fit better, and some D's fit better. It also depends on what time of the month, since my boobs tend to fluctuate as much as half a cup size throughout the month.

Last time I was in department stores, I noticed that they had small half-sizes...almost A's, almost B's, and a rare few almost C's. But they did not have almost D's. Does such a size exist?

By the way, thanks for the feedback.

I have never heard of such a size but maybe you should get fitted for a bra. Its really easy you go into a store and ask for a fitting and they will measure you. You might find out from a professional that you really are a specific size go to a place like Victorias Secret

I've had the same trouble, it's like I can wear some 38 C's , and they fit really good, other days they are too small and I have to wear a 36 D. It seems to me no matter what the cup size the around size, i.e., 34-36-38, etc...will make the cup a little bit bigger. Hope this helps.

We've had better luck at Victoria's Secret than anyplace else, including department stores and specialty lingerie stores. One of their bras with a stretch-knit cup and good support should be a great choice. Try on a C and a D and see for yourself which is better.

Fredericks of hollywood has sizes up to 34 f which is like a triple D. if you go into any fredericks they will measure you and get you into the right bra size and they aren't too expencive they are usually 2 for $48 dollars and they are good supportive and still pretty bras

I am not sure they make that size. Maybe you can go get one especially made for your chest. They have stores where they take your measurements and special make a bra just for you. If not just go the next cup size up. Good Luck!!!!

I think the issue you are having is that you need to find a bra that has cups that conform to the shape of your breasts. It's not just about measurements.

Here's the link to Nordstrom's bra fit guide for more information: http://shop.nordstrom.com/C/2384919/0~2376776~2374327~2384839~2384919

As one of the previous answers mentioned, you should look for knit bras.

Here are a couple of links w/ examples:

http://www.onehanesplace.com/category/3040000000.html These bras don't have underwires & have a bit of elastic throughout so they can conform to your shape while providing support.

Here's Bali's company site: http://www.balicompany.com/ so you can find other retailers.

A few examples from Nordstrom:
