In Britain, we are too busy celebrating winning a war 25 years ago over a bunch of islands occupied mainly by sheep and penguins and two thousand odd humans.
It was started by a right wing despot trying to muster some much-needed popularity, and the response was, well, see above.
About one thousand combatants died and the whole thing cost 2000 000000 quid.

There's always a war somewhere, so I guess it's not possible to celebrate such a thing as peace.
