i used to always get tired when i was playing outside, so i would fall asleep at the end of the driveway. one time, a police man picked me up and brought me to the front door becasue he thought my parents were putting me out there on purpose. they really didn't but i still laugh about all the time.

I used to sleep on the floor-board in the back of my dads 41 Packard, if one of my three brothers or sister didn't beat me to it, or beat me up. (just kidding).
I also must say, I enjoyed sleeping on the rooftop of the house I visited in Iran, under the starry sky.
It was not funny, getting down, as Americans had designed them on a work-site for Expats., opposed to the Persian designs that were very functional for their climate..The Persian Rooftops were level, and families could sleep on them comfortably during hot weather.
Sleeping on the stairs, what a choice, up or down, and your favorite blankie. Lucky U....

Me and my sister used to sleep in the barn when we were like 8 years old. We'd take some hay bales from the hay loft and arrange them like a bed, then we'd go get sheets and blankets and make a bed out in the hay loft and sleep out there. lol We were crazy kids.

With a blanket and a pillow in a laundry basket. I have slept in a bath tub when I was sick and had a fever. The cold of the tub felt good. But it was very hard.

My dad tells me once I fell asleep in my tree-house as a kid.
I know I fell asleep on top of a coffee table and in the back of a pick-up truck.
On my 12th birthday (Oh God, so many years ago!) I had several friends over, I coincidentally had to sleep in the top bunk of a discount bunk-bed, I know that night i fell off, broke a table, and woke up all my friends.

We had a closet that had 3 levels in it. At the very top it was big enough to lay down in it. My friend & I used to sleep in there at night - like our own little fort.

I used to make up my bed and then sleep under it. That way I would fool the monsters into thinking I wasn't home :-)

I used to sleep in a cubby hole inside the wall as you walked upstairs. I would hide in there too.

I'd play so rough that I would wear myself out and fall asleep booty up on the hard wood floor
