No, but I understand why they might do that, either to get a fresher batch you know they had to make for you, or to apply the amount of salt you want as some people are a bit heavy handed with the salt shaker. There is one disadvantage though, is that the salt used by the fast food places is a special french fry salt that sticks to the fries better than the ordinary table salt in the packets.

Yes. If you do this, they have to cook up a new batch of French fries for you because they salt them right out of the fryer. This ensures your fries are fresh. It also lets you put less salt on them and helps lower the sodium levels of your meal.

I had an ex that would do that, His reason was so he would get fresh fries that way, as they would have to cook them right then because the others were salted as soon as they were done.

yes but some salt has more sodium so i pick one with less sodium but u may not
